The Importance of Volunteering
"You're better in something of your own," he says. "So I, I graduated in 2004 and it was a lockout year in NHL." He started volunteering back at RPI as an assistant coach to get into the program. That happened to be the year that Jim Montgomery actually was hired as an assistant. With Seth Aperd. So I shared an office with Monty as a volunteer. And so that relationship, we've got tons of stories from that you basically taking like making sure murals can come home in the summer.
