Are Interest Rates Going to Be Higher?

I think a lot of the money that's been created in the last 30 or 40 years has been financing speculation rather than innovation. So I'm quite critical of the growth in private debt which led to that decline in interest rates. And most of that private are going into housing by price speculation and share price speculation, not actually funding entrepreneurs. It wasn't that we should have had low interest rates all the time. But my father was a bank manager as it happens back in the 1950s. Going back, he should be a 363 business. Bottom with three, lenders six and beyond the golf course by 3 p.m.
