What's the Relationship Between 12 Months and Five-Year Inflation Expectations
A flash survey in the uk trying to figure out if all this sort of uncertainty in you know political and economic uncertainty how that was affecting inflation expectations there it saw pretty dramatic increase particularly among people who followed politics very very closely. You've got more people who think that inflation is going to be something like you know ten percent or higher which is a little concerning. Any difference across demographic age really strong really really strong differences okay here again similar to confidence you see higher older adults um much more likely to have higher inflation expectations and younger adults just don't update their inflation expectations as quickly from week to week.
