The Dystopian Dream of Black Owned Businesses

The value of equity in Black communities is going to be zero by 2040. There's a systematic stripping of equity out of Black, of ownership, of wealth. And that is the same thing as slavery ultimately. If you got no equity in your community, there's nobody even going to go to this barbershop. People get their haircut at home. It's a shortage that can hit it. To me, the reparations is about figuring out every way that we can to build Black owned businesses back up.
