Sometimes It Goes the Other Way

There's a lot of great churches in Chicago that have been excommunicated from the Catholic church, but... Dude. It gets them out of there. There's one here across from the, across the street from a grocery store we go to. It is a hilariously gay church. And just looking, I mean, it's just so joyful. When my dad died, this entire building full of strangers collapsed on us with affection to try and make our life easier. Whether that was a potted plant or some green bean casserole or babysitting strangers,. total strangers, not doing it for any reason other than they wanted to help.
