Are We Seeing a Modern Religious Struggle?

i wonder whether all the data seem to suggest that americans are becoming much less formally religiously observant. But also, back to what we weretalking about early rwhether it's been replaced by this new kind of secular religion and environmentalism. I mean, one of my favourite lines from one of my historians is too, that we used to think that the wars of religion went away in the soda, sixteenth and seventeenth century. Are we now involved in that kind of ifyou for what of a better word, that kind of modern religious struggle? That's entirely how i understand and i the left understands it that way too.
