In elementary school, i wasn't invited to our birthday party cause o mamma said i was too black. I could see the power and privilege that was andto light or skin. But then i got a wa pretty for a dark skin girl. Then i had my foxy brown era. You knowi it was a different situation up here. And then of course, the nineties, hippop you know, we red, black and green. So solderalso that was my experience. All i've that to say. We moved from new orleans to delaware ecause my dad went from savio to dell state. And i had a whole different experience coming up
