The Market's Response to the Inflation Data
The inflation data consumer prices Wednesday was not what the Fed wanted to see. The odds for a full percentage point hike 100 basis points rose to above 50%. We're probably going to get two aggressive hikes in a row by the Fed and then when happens after that we'll have to see. But I think investors are getting a good lesson of the challenges of overhead supply.
