The Elk Cloner Virus - What Did It Do?
An elk cloner was absolutely a prank. So this one was never meant to spread as far as it did. It would get on to a disk, you put the disk into your appleto computer, and it would copy itself into the computer. That was back in the day when viruss word were still kind of experimental,. And really they were pranks or proof of concepts at that time. All any company has to do is just change everything about their operating sysem yes, throw everything in the garbage and create something brand new.
