The History of Karite
Karite is an Indo-European language. They are situated in the Iberian peninsula. It seems like they got there migrating alongside the Celts. The earliest inscriptions can be dated to 500 BC to Norban in southern France. And then basically, at the time that the Roman conquests and the expansion happened, they started migrating further westwards into the Iberians where they stayed for a good while. As part of Spain, in that case, they helped with the colonization of America and basically a bunch of karite speakers ended up living there.
