The Importance of Preparation for the January 6 Attack

The intelligence failures were not a major focus of the select committee's final report. I think that they were worried that you're focusing on any of these issues to do with the lack of preparation that existed for the January 6 attack, would deflect or take focus off of the question of Trump. But also there's this massive problem. Sometimes we shorthand it as an intelligence failure, but frankly the raw intelligence was collected even to a certain extent. It was just not acted upon or organized well.
