The Legacy of Harvard University

Saks: Is there a separate category here? Just like country clubs or any private membership club where the members of the club get to decide who they want to admit to the club? And is that un-American? No. Harvard could absolutely return all the federal funding, the billions of dollars a year they get. That's totally reasonable than they can decide to just focus on legacy admits. It's not meritocratic. I've already told my kids I'm not helping them go into college so they're going to have to do it on their own.
