And is that un-American? No. Harvard could absolutely return all the federal funding, the billions of dollars a year they get. That's totally reasonable than they can decide to just focus on legacy admits. It's not meritocratic. I've already told my kids I'm not helping them go into college so they're going to have to do it on their own.
