The FDIC and the Fed Are Looking Into Regional Banks
The results of today's tests are something to watch because as part of that severe adverse scenario, they say there would be a 40% decline in commercial real estate. The FDIC and the Fed have both said that they're looking into is this idea that there's kind of this band between $100 billion in assets and $250 billion in assets. They're looking at that kind of mid-sized, super regional bank and to see whether those entities should be tested.
