Perfectionism is a thief of perfectionism, says the author. Like all the thieves, it feels really good to do the thing that our thief drives us to do. Being perfect is nourishing to their soul. It calms them down. And so perfectionists have their version of that were the order of thing. But it doesn't always lead to tactical necessity.
