The Importance of Metrics in Product Design

I think there are a lot of design teams that are focusing on the metrics they're being asked to focus on without necessarily questioning that as much as maybe we should be. I say we need to remember it's human-centered, not metrics-centered. Yes, pay attention to metrics, be good at metrics, but help the organizations see beyond them as well and question if that's the right metric.
