Star Wars Celebration?

The Peaky Blinders is seen on Netflix in the US, but that was a BBC show. We saw how great Rogue One turned out. This doesn't necessarily condemn the next Star Wars film. I just get worried that Damon Lindelof said it's not great and it shouldn't exist. So if they're going to plow ahead and announce this thing, it's Star Wars celebration in a few weeks, then how did they fix it so fast? Or is it something entirely new?
