How to Maintain Close Friendships

As time goes on like what I find is relationships kind of fade if we're not on a similar trajectory or slope. How do you navigate maintaining close friendships? Understanding you're all going to be on your respective journeys. Does it feel weird to have a mic in front of you? I really like the mic. But I think that does make it more like if we were just sitting here right bullshitting like we were listening. You kind of forget.
