Science as an Act of Faith

Science delusion is belief that science already understands the nature of reality and principle, leaving any details to be filled in. People who question it and put forward an alternative are treated as heratics - not as people doing valid research looking at alternatives. I think by recognizing that science is based on assumptions, there's a chance of opening up the scientific process to make it more pluralistic.
