America punches below its weight for happiness, according to a new report. The country's high rate of suicides is due in large part to the availability of guns. There are things that seem to be in the structure of american experience that seems to strip us of our happiness, despite our wealth. And when you do look at other countries, the data flips, and there's other countries where parents are happier non parents.
