The Cycle of Gold and the Stock Market
There have been plenty of cycles where gold moves up with the stock market. Gold went from $250 in 2001 to $1,900 in 2011. That was not a bad time for stock, owning stocks. So you can have both move together and coming out of the bust,. If the stock market's down 80%, from that 80% drop, you're going to have a cyclical bull market. The dollar, if we have that kind of environment, the dollar is not going to do well.
