Sridhana: Steiner's idea that consciousness has been the same now as it was a hundred thousand years ago is fundamental to an understanding of history and human being. She says if we look at every culture you'll see them in a certain modality of consciousness in their time manifesting a culture. The Egyptians lived in kind of a wonderful world even though to us they look like they were suffering like crazy let's say right so everything has to be readjusted and rethought out, she adds.
