There are no limits on the number of balls you can use in a match. A pro might have like 15 to 20 balls available, and they may change them if it's not working out. The ball is picking up oil when it's going down that slick part of the lane. It tends to give you less curve as the night goes on in that area. Good bowler, it has to adjust.
