In southern californias, fir trees grew down to one thousand 500 feet. They're now up around five thousand feet. A lot of things had moved from the glacier south during the plite cene. And then as the climate changed into the mediterranean period, and we grew like friends in southern california. But what happened is a starting in the 19 twenties, began large scale fires.
