The Importance of Communication in Screenwriting
I've been working on the same short story for about two years very, very slowly. And that's been a big part of my creative life in the last three or four years. I don't feel as much as an individual in screenwriting than I do in prose. The style is a little looser. There is comedy from that tension between the rigor of society and how real people have to exist within that framework.
