The Role of the Therapeutic Relationship in Psychotherapy

The psychoanalytic tradition focuses on the therapeutic relationship and alliance that you have with the client. I think it's a transferable thing across all therapies in theory if you're doing it well. But I think it ties to history and conceptualization but there's such a powerful, in a good way, role of the therapeutic relationship. That's what I see as best but I don't know if you see it the same or you see something else that they do best.
