It's increasingly understood though not yet well enough that those economic estimates of the overall costs of climate change are really largely meaningless. And what matters so much is that we have a whole set of economic ideas and tools that are completely inappropriate for this problem that we face. You've actually got a constant state of evolution in the global economy,. It's less like an ecosystem machine that we've imagined it to be... So if we replace the ideas with ones that understand its dynamics, then we arrive at very different answers"
