The Problem With American Trade Policy
The US cannot simply say, we do this, you have to play along and no one's going to react. We need a new trade policy in the US because we haven't been open. The rest of the world's continue to open up,. continue to do more trade, more investment. And so all this blaming everything on the China shock doesn't make any sense.
