Is It Ethical to Support Yourself on Patreon?

I do not have an ethical problem with supporting yourself that way. I see the kind of shit that I'm afraid AI is going to do to these jobs where people would get their start as writers and whatnot. And maybe it wasn't the best, you know, it's not you're not doing the best writing you're ever going to do the jobs that get replaced by AI. But it's a foot in the door. You can make a case people do that it's more ethical than being ad supported.
