The Importance of Daylight Saving Time

Many parts of the world are moving from daylight saving time also called summer time to standard time this week. Most countries have signed on to the idea of a standard world time system. There are at least two acceptable ways to write AM and PM which are abbreviations for anti-maridium and post-maridium. Although it's common to see noon written as 12pm and midnight written as 12am it's not correct and it can confuse people.
