The Death of Chatterton

Chatterton was a classic artist and romantic poet. But it seems he took an overdose, is the most commonly held view. By our own spirits are we deified, so we are turned into gods, if you like. We poets, in our youth, beginning gladness, but thereof come in the end, despondency and madness. Yes, i too am one of those tragic poets. Iam quite happy to day, but i bet to morrow i will be as unhappy as they are.
