Scarecrows Are Scary, Right?

Husk: I've always thought scarecrows were scared, right? Ye? That's really wiitst they are. The short has this thing that, a, i'm both fascinated by and drives me nuts in horror movies. And when you get rid of all those things, then you're not going to write stories with no tropes at all. Well, there's no way to do it because there's no reason for them to exist. But scarecrows have always been my favorite kind of sub janer.
