Most of the internet, as you said, runs on free, open sor softor why? Because it's decentralized. It's transparent. We wouldn't want to all use an internet run by amazon or microsot because then again, they could fail. Bicon and etherium take that idea to the level, because now it's not just data, but stores of value and contracts that are riding on there. And i think actually the bms of the world will eventually regret investing so many resources on the private block chain implications and not the public ones.
