Genetically Modified Crops
I find consistently that this is one of the topics on which I have the most friends whose judgment I generally respect who I disagree with and who I think is wrong about this. There's a real marketing problem with the term GM we have been modifying the genetics of crops since we invented farming probably before then just using different approaches over time nobody when they get a cute purebred puppy says I'm getting a genetically modified dog for effectively better than what it is yes. The purism about genetics in dog breeding really quite scary but certainly a little creepy creepy all right okay. Thank goodness for genetic modification otherwise some large percentage of the planet couldn't be here because we would have the grain yields that they had
