The Profitability of Pistachios
It takes almost a gallon of water to grow one pistachio. For pistachios, Mark can make $10,000 an acre. This is ten times more profitable than most other crops. The drought has made pistachios and almonds harder to grow,. And as a result, the price has naturally shot up.
