In your book, you bring up this whole idea of the urging to look different while promising to behave the same as being a central thrust behind this push for diversity. So i guess what is the larger issue here? Is it something about how we actually assign meaning to the differences that exist intoin society? And people don't like you asking what they're celebrating while they're celebrating, because it gets in the way of celebration.
