The Problem With Cryoprotectins
It's never been demonstrated to preserve synapses. You got to be more careful about what cryoprotectins are losing because, you know, the brain is much less stable. And then when you try to image them, the resulting electron micrographs are uninterpretable. It doesn't look very traceable. But in terms of a neuroscientist, I can hear a thing, I would look at it and say, yeah, this is traceable. Like this ought to retain the structures and memory. That can't currently be done with traditional cryo-frozen brains like those used by Alcor.
