Airbus is promising to build a hydrogen-powered plane that enters into commercial services sometime in the mid 2030s. Hydrogen is now being seen as a kind of silver bullet for several so-called hard-to-abate sectors. There's this big need to scale up these solutions quickly to hit the 2050 target. Even if you can solve the technical challenge, there's a major business economic challenge there.
