Staris - Is Miles a Tip Off to Wax?

i'm really concerned that there's not going to be a happy ending with staris. For whatever reason, it feels like they want wax around and to be interested in what they're doing, but i don't really know whyso that part is a little strange to me. As far as who's behind all this, i don't thinke would keep mentioning miles if he wasn't the one behind this,. or have mentioned him to begin with.
