The Benefits of Resistance Training
Resistance exercise can increase muscle mass by up to 10%. And strength by up to 150%. This in turn can impact your whole body. Research has found that resistance training was especially good for memory and executive function, which includes things like problem solving. 30 to 60 minutes of resistance training a week reduces the risk of dying from heart disease and cancer by up to 20%.
