Do You Need to Pray a Prayer of Repentance?

I disagree with the idea that you don't need to pray a prayer of repentance. I think it's totally right and good to say Lord, would you forgive me for this sin I committed,. knowing full well that is but his blood is paid for it. And so usually that's another thing is usually find demonic spirits just by having people pray prayers of repentance. Those things will try to stop them. We do have biblical precedent for not giving people things they're not ready for. You see in 1 Corinthians 3, I gave you milk, not solid food because you weren't ready for it.
