The state of AI report comes from tech investors Ian Hogarth and Nathan Benaik, who we've spoken to on the podcast before. VC investment in AI is down 53% year on year but some sectors are continuing to show lots of interest. The report picks out defense as a rapidly growing application for AI. One other area where it thinks AI will be increasingly applied and investments will show increasing interest is bio technology.
