The song is about a lucky man who may be great and the news was rather sadthe lites had to la. John Lennon wound up recording the acusta guitar on this not george harrison, who's just playing moroccos on this track and on this section. The thing that makes this whole section work for me is the melody. I love that final fifth made the grad from that e to a b. A sus two chord just sounds good in general.
