Killers of the Flower Moon

Killers of the Flower Moon is one of the top books of 2017 and has a movie based on its starring Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in production. This tale takes place in Oklahoma during the 1920s when between 60 to perhaps over a thousand members of the Osage Nation died violent or suspicious deaths. The majority of these crimes occurred in or around Fairfax, Oklahoma. At least 13 other full blooded Osage men and women would perish between 1921 and 1923. Desperate for help, the tribal leaders requested the assistance of the Bureau of Investigation in 1925. They discovered the existence of an evil group, led by William Hale.
