How Do You Address the Ephesians Five Thing?

In ephesians five, wives submit to your husbands. Most galitarian christians would understand those texts to be written in the broader context of mutual submission. That's not what i'm here to do, quite the opposite. If you want to get into the weeds of biblical scholarship, there's literally centuries of scholarship that will point you in a different direction than this authoritarian model of gendered submission.
