The Importance of Covenant Law in the Church

The church has a lot to answer for in pretending that its ethical discourse is simply a set of non-negotiable conclusions. The Bible does show us that the deepest commands of God must always be interpreted if they are to have any credibility. And I suggest that what we need to do is to let that process of interpretation become visible and communal.
