The US Cluster Bombs Still Kill Civilians in Laos
Charles Brown is the chief of staff of the Air Force. He stresses the importance of air power in a future fight with China. The US aircraft dumped 2 million tons of ordinance on Laos, more than Japan, Germany and Britain during World War II. Less than 1% of the dormant bombs have been cleared since the war ended in Laos.
