Did the Flood Really Break the Earth?
According to Dan, it happened in the beginning stages of the flood. His model is that layers of sediment were being applied to North America by really tall, dirt carrying waves and repeatedly splashing onto the continents. For this splish splash model to work, the continents would have had to have split almost immediately in the beginning stage. It doesn't make sense that the land masses are altogether. Now, if we jump ahead to the Q&A session at the end of the seminar, the topic of catastrophic plate tectonics comes up again. And it makes so much more sense that there was one continent originally and it was the flood that split it up and processes at theend of the flood
