Yhat's a Hybrid of Science Fiction and Science Fiction

Haldeman wanted to make a story about soldiers, and i was the only person around who'd ever been one. But stuart gordon insisted on robo jocks. He finally wound up being robot jocks after the people who did robo cop asked whether we wanted to spend a lot of dreary time in court. You can absolutely feel this tension in the movie when you watch it,. It will alternate between moments that almost kind of actually work as as thoughtful science fiction. There will be like, moments of dialogue that are kind of thoughtful and interesting, then it just immediately throttles back into hilarious, absurd, cleche syphi mode.
