Fungus - What Are They?
The mushroom we see on the surface is just a small part of a fungus. The real action is going on below. Most fungis live most of their lives as miselium, branching networks of tubular cells. And like animals, which put food in their bodies, fungy put their bodies in their food. They do so in the form of these very flexible micilial networks which constantly remodel themselves.
