Is Peter Pettigrew Really Trying to Get Away From Voldemort?
Peter Pettigrew offers to, you know, go get a different muggle. He's not sure that they should wait for Harry Potter. They think it'd be easier to do what they need to do with someone other than Harry Potter. Voldemort immediately accuses him of trying to abandon him and leave him to die because the sense is that without these frequent milkings of Nagini,. which I guess only Peter Pettigrew can facilitate he will not have strength to survive in his current state.
